Why we need your data

Accommodation providers in Germany must keep a registration form for every guest (sections 29 and 30 of the Federal Registration Act, Bundesmeldegesetz). The city of Friedrichshafen also levies a visitor's tax for which we must report arrival, departure and age of all guests. We collect the details in this form for these purposes only.

Which data

Main guest: name, date of birth, address, nationality, optionally e-mail. Additional persons: name and date of birth. Plus booking number, accommodation and dates of stay from your booking.

Who receives the data

We transmit the registration data to the tourist office of the city of Friedrichshafen through the AVS registration system. No other transfer takes place.

Retention

Registration forms must be kept for one year under section 30 of the Federal Registration Act and are destroyed afterwards. The link to this form expires a few days after your departure.

Technical notes

The site runs on a server in Germany. The web server stores IP address, time and requested page in log files for a short period to detect abuse. We set a cookie only for your language choice.
